Meet the Team

Jerry Daniels

Growing up, Jerry was often seen helping his dad and uncles in the garage. Tinkering and fixing things gave him a passion for working with his hands, something he constantly sought out going forward. With high school graduation quickly approaching, he was facing a dilemma that most teenagers face: What to do with my life? His father suggested a trade school in Minnesota that had a good reputation for automotive education.
After graduating from trade school, Jerry worked for the family business. Working in a shop alongside his father, he got a better sense for what made him happy. He moved out West and bounced around in the trades. Working in construction, mechanics, and various other trades, he was never quite satisfied. He missed the daily interaction with family, and the laid-back atmosphere that a small business can offer. Thus, in 1998, A Touch of Class opened their doors.
When Jerry is not working on cars, he enjoys spending time with his lovely wife of 24 years, Alice, and there seven children. Family is incredibly important to the Daniels. Together, Jerry and Alice have five grandchildren. They enjoy trips to the beach and spending time together.

Kenzie Abbott

Even at a young age, I had an interest in cars. Growing up as a military brat my world was constantly changing. My family and the trucks we owned were the only constant thing in her life. Car shows, road trips and staying up late watching shows, like Top Gear, is what my childhood consisted of. Those vehicles became family memories on wheels, they had names, celebrations for milestones and yes, I did cry when my parents would sell one. As a young woman, I bought my first car which was a 1985 Mercedes-Benz 300D. After I had satisfied my need for a classic car, I decided to dip my toes into the off-roading world. I got a 1996 Toyota T100, which is the grandfather V6 of the Tundra. Because the bed was long, I cut about a foot and a half off to prevent getting stuck. Once the body work was done, a new paint job and bigger tires shortly followed suit. Getting ready for a Dana 60 front and rear is my next big project.
My career in the automotive industry did not officially start until 2018 when I was offered a job at a local German repair shop. I started as a parts manager, then service advisor, and now I am a collision estimator at A Touch of Class. Before moving to Washington, I went to school for welding. I am looking forward to working with Jerry on expanding my skills and becoming an auto body technician.
I love anything from a 1964 Pontiac GTO to a beat up 1985 Toyota Hilux to a 2021 Mercedes-AMG E63. My passion for automobiles is why I love what I do, and I love working for a small business that shares the same mindset as I do.
